Manage Documents Directly from Kyocera HyPAS Enabled MFP's
with SearchExpress

Birmingham, Ala. – October 28, 2010 - Executive Technologies, Inc., the
developer of SearchExpress Document Management software, today announced the
entire family of SearchExpress products can be integrated into Kyocera’s HyPAS
enabled multifunctional products (MFPs), allowing users to capture, index,
route, search and manage paper and digital documents.
SearchExpress reduces time spent finding, copying and organizing paper and
digital documents by organizing them with user-defined indexes. End users can
search documents using a PC, laptop or mobile device. Leveraging Kyocera’s
HyPAS, SearchExpress users can scan and index documents from the Kyocera MFP’s
touch screen display.
“SearchExpress provides full enterprise content management capabilities
including document capture, search, workflow, version control, document
retention and an audit database for HIPAA and regulatory compliance,” said Jim
Geer, President of Executive Technologies. “By leveraging Kyocera’s HyPAS
platform and DMS Link technology we can easily integrate SearchExpress into any
HyPAS enabled Kyocera MFP. The flexibility of Kyocera’s MFPs and our
SearchExpress software gives end users options of using Microsoft SQL, Microsoft
SharePoint, or our own proprietary SearchExpress database.”
SearchExpress was designed to be integrated into Kyocera MFPs using Kyocera’s
HyPAS solutions platform. HyPAS is a powerful and scalable software solution
platform that optimizes the performance of Kyocera’s award-winning MFPs through
custom, integrated software applications that are designed to meet and exceed
users’ specific document imaging needs. HyPAS transforms Kyocera MFPs into
resources designed to evolve as business needs evolve – resulting in enhanced
information sharing, resource optimization and an improved pre-existing, as well
as future document workflows.
DMS Link is Kyocera’s document capture software. DMS Link allows users to
route an OCR’d PDF and an accompanying XML file to most document management
systems in the market today. In addition to routing documents to document
management systems, DMS Link also supports folder browsing.
